2025 COX FAMILY REUNION
July 11 – 13, 2025

Friday, July 11
Registration starts at 4:00 pm and concludes at 6:00 pm. This time block is set aside for arrival/picking up of welcome packets, family tree viewing, and family gathering. The fee includes the ballroom rental. We will be exploring family dinner options outside of the hotel (food on your own).
4:00 – 6:00 PM. Family Meet & Greet and Family Tree Viewing Butterfly Room
Saturday, July 12
The day starts at 10am with a family tour of the family church, cemetery, and Cox Family farm. Families can drive their own transportation. Group transportation will depart from Hyatt Place Athens at 10am and bring you to the park upon conclusion.
*We are currently researching group transportation options. Please let us know your preference when you register.
The family picnic at Sandy Creek Park will be 11am-4pm. Families have the option to travel directly to the park if not attending the family tour. We have rented Pavilion #2. Outside of that we will have several games and activities to participate in, a DJ, and a catered BBQ lunch. Fee includes: group transportation rental, park rental, lunch, and DJ.

Saturday Night: Formal Dinner starting at 6:00 PM with family program beginning at 7:00 PM. Following our program we will have dancing and fun with a DJ. Fee includes the ballroom rental, DJ, decorations and catered meal.
6:00 PM Reunion Banquet: Dinner Served Meeting Space 1-3
7:00 - 11:00 PM Program & Party
Sunday, July 13
Mostly an optional day as this is usually travel day and thus not included in the registration. Breakfast (location to be determined) and church.

(Room rates are quoted exclusive of applicable state and local taxes, which are currently 15% plus $5.00 per day Georgia State Hotel-Motel Fee).
Double room: 2 Queens, plus Queen Sofa in living area (sleeps 6)
King room: 1 King bed, plus Queen Sofa in living area (sleeps 4)

Amenities: Full Breakfast included in rate (e.g. omlets, waffles, etc.), two restaurants on site, rooftop bar overlooking downtown Athens, and gym. Location is in walking distance to shops, restaurants, bars, etc.
Parking is $14 per day, per vehicle.
*If you are planning on coming in town on Thursday, contact the hotel to extend your reservation. Room block is currently set for Friday-Sunday.
