Prince Edward Cox, a resident of West College Hill, Ohio was born May 8, 1923 to the union of the late Susie Hill Cox and Morgan C. Cox. He was one of five children. He attended Steel Grade School and North College Hill High School. He entered into eternal rest and peace at the age of 80 on Saturday, July 12, 2003. 

He was a long time resident of West College hill. He was a caring and sharing person, with a shy, gentle spirit. He was loved by many particularly children for whom he always took time to share a conversation, a smile or a laugh. 

Prince leaves to cherish his love and fond memories: two brothers, Richard Cox and Samuel (Peggy) Cox; one sister, Emma Cox, all of Cincinnati, Ohio; eleven nieces and nephews, Carolyn S. (Robert) Rawls-Payton, Marvin Rawls, Michael (Mary Ann) Rawls, Linda Rawls-Heard, Sylvester Rawls, Jr.; Maurice (Fannie) Cox, Richard E. (Elizabeth) Cox, Warren (Beverly) Cox, Karen Cox, Amelia Cox, Bruce (Gloria) Cox; eleven great-nieces and nephews, Matika Rawls, Juan Heard, Tamika Heard, Jamaal Rawls-Payton, Mikilo Rawls, Julian Cox, MacAlister Cox, Adrienne Cox, Jonathan Cox, Kelsey Cox, Asha Cox; four great-nieces and nephews, Donyea, JaShaun, Kenyida, and Kenna, and a host of other relatives and friends. His devoted sister, Thelma Rawls, preceded him in death.
